Welcome To Tai Chi Fundamentals
Taught by Shikon Founder, Steve Rowe
Welcome to the Tai Chi Fundamentals Course.
In this course, you will learn the basics of the most popular and effective Yang Style of Tai Chi. This course is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
The Tai Chi Fundamentals course consists of four complete online courses that together will teach you the fundamentals of Yang Style Tai Chi.
Your instructor is world-renowned martial arts expert Steve Rowe, who has been studying Tai Chi, philosophy, meditation, and many other arts for over 50 years.
HERES WHAT'S INCLUDED INSIDE
Online Course 1: Neigong
Neigong involves working on posture, deep breathing, mindfulness, meditation, and emotional intelligence.
Neigong is the starting point and a lifelong practice. To correct any of the deepest aspects of Tai Chi training you will always return to this practice to study and remedy them. It quickly becomes the highlight of your day.
Online Course 2: Qigong
Tai Chi exercises designed to discover the power lines through the body, to open and soften the joints and tissue whilst working the body through all the movements it's capable of.
In this course we work systematically through the body using the principles of ‘sink, swallow and float’ that pulses to give Tai Chi that beautiful ‘floaty’ look carrying the Qi energy throughout the body and guiding and focusing it to where we need it.
These exercises are practiced every day to engender good health, strong vigour and form the foundation of all Tai Chi technique.
Online Course 3: Yang Chen Fu Form
The Yang Chen Fu Form, (the most popular and practised Tai Chi form in the World) is suitable for all ages and abilities and was passed directly from the family and its lineage to Steve Rowe.
The form is a carefully structured 20-minute workout focusing on the 13 dynamics of Yang Family Tai Chi.
Combined with the neigong, qigong and push hands units it makes the perfect training system.
Online Course 4: Tai Chi Push Hands
This course contains three foundational push hands drills to develop the sensitivity necessary to find harmony and develop skills required for Tai Chi.
Who is the Tai Chi Fundamentals course for?
The course is aimed at anyone, of any ability, who wants to start learning Tai Chi right from the beginning and work through the layers.
I have taught this system to thousands of people from all backgrounds; from OAP's training to improve their health to senior martial arts practitioners from all styles.
